Task
The “New In” section brings about 40% of incoming traffic and refreshes every Thursday. The brand asked us to make “New In” and the homepage brand-positioning pages — so the visuals say what the brand says: the fashion message and its styling.
Result
A mobile-app concept: “New In” as the first touch with a collection, product cards with video instead of photos, stylists’ trend picks as stories. Motion as the shared language of the cover, the card and the season campaign. Shipped in three weeks.
How it went
stage 1
What the section does
Design
Task
We worked out what the section should do for the brand, not just for the catalogue: “New In” is the customer’s first touch with a new collection.
Result
The decision: “New In” is a brand page, not a catalogue shop window.
stage 2
Motion instead of stills
DesignContent
Task
Live “NEW IN” covers, product cards with video instead of stills, the homepage given over to the collection.
Result
The section cover, the product card and the “LIME SUMMER ’24” campaign follow one set of rules.
stage 3
Stylists’ picks
ContentDesign
Task
The season’s trends from the brand’s stylists as stories — inside the app, next to the product.
Result
A stylist’s advice on the same screen as the product.
